Cameron (Cam) Fowler is a global leader recognized for delivering impact at the intersection of financial services, technology and ESG.

Cam currently serves as BMO Financial Group’s Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, leading a broad enterprise transformation focused on accelerating BMO’s shift to a digitally enabled, future-ready bank driven by Purpose, brand, and culture. In this role he drives the strategic direction, brand, Purpose and impact commitments, digital investments, and key shared services capabilities across the bank. In addition, Cam is BMO’s Executive Champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, chairs BMO’s Operating Committee and Enterprise Digital Forum and is a member of the Board of Directors for BMO Financial Corporation.

Cam has led campaigns for United Way and chaired The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. He is past Chair of the Executive Council of the Canadian Bankers Association and Moneris Solutions.

As a Board member of CivicAction, he founded and chaired Canada’s first carbon fund and has driven multiple initiatives to support inclusive, diverse and sustainable cities. As a Foundation Director, Cam currently co-chairs the fundraising campaign for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading mental health research centres.
